When Does Healing Happen?
Healing doesn’t happen through force.
It doesn’t come from pushing harder, bypassing what’s uncomfortable, or trying to “rise above” what the body is holding.
Healing happens when the body feels safe enough to soften.
When there is time.
When there is permission.
When the nervous system is no longer bracing for what might come next.
So often we’re taught to seek big breakthroughs, sudden insights, or dramatic moments of release. But for many of us, real healing begins much more quietly — with regulation, not revelation.
With learning how to be here.
With noticing the breath.
With allowing the body to settle before asking it to open.
This is the foundation of the work I hold.
A slow, grounded approach that honours the body’s wisdom and its timing — because nothing meaningful can be integrated when we don’t feel safe.
If this resonates, let it land gently.
There’s no rush.
Healing unfolds when the conditions are right.
